And btw, GTR owners tend to line up with what I'm saying about the Switzer P800 capabilities, it's not just my opinion. The GT-R is super easy to launch. Hold down the brake, hold down the accelerator, lift your foot off the brake on green and you go. I don't see much room for shaving half a second there. I'd agree with you if we're talking manual shifting but that's not the case here. Also, everyone commenting on the NAGTROC forums is in agreement the numbers in this vid are total bullshit and the Switzer crew are refusing to comment on the matter.

Unofficial 10 point somethings is well and good but I'm talking sub10s quarters here. Only 3 GTRs that I know of have broken into sub10, 2 SPE's and 1 AMS. If a Switzer build had actually broken into the 9sec barrier it would be a huge deal. Turbochargers definitly. Either work well but superchargers are taxing on the engine through the belt. Superchargers may add boost quicker but turbos are easier to adjust and aren't as taxing on certain parts of the engine.

Get ur facts right dude. Gtr is like 300 lbs heavier than the 911. Gtr has very short gearing that's why it's fast off the line and lowspeed roll. 5 and 6 gear are very weak, if u do a roll at 150mph, gtr will lose easily to other similar power to weight(as the gtr) cars like Porsche, and corvettes which had more powerful longer gears.

Also July 1st, 2010 was the last production day of the Viper, SRT-10, whatever you want to call it. Dodge no longer makes a big V10 sports car. In feburary 2010 the started taking orders for the 'final edition' cars. They made 50. So unless you buy one off the dealer lot, you can no longer buy a Viper.

Just because a car beats the Viper at The Ring doesn't mean it will on a smaller track. The ACR is not good on top speed because of the down force it generates. Top speed on the SRT-10 is like 200-205mph, and the ACR's top speed is 170mph. That gives you an idea how functional it is.
The Viper was discontinued? The name was, not the car. Not that I'm aware of anyway. They are called STR-10's now, not Vipers.

Not to mention the GTR's automatic computer controlled shifting is faster than the idiots shifting on his manual clutch. Tie the Vette's driver to the bumper and drag him. He sucks!
