Ferrari to use Corvette-derived suspension on 599 GTB Fiorano
The embattled, and bankrupt, GM parts supplier Delphi has been tapped by Ferrari to supply the new 599 GTB Fiorano with its MagneRide suspension thats also used on the Chevrolet Corvette, Cadillac STS and other premium GM products.
Delphi has been supplying Ferrari with climate control systems since 1992 and will also supply the Fioranos electrical system.

actually its the other way around. delphi supplies parts to ferrari, and the vette doesnt use ferrari brakes, they just both happen to use brembo parts, which is a 3rd party all by itself, neither gm or ferrari.

No matter how good or bad, for better or worst Ferarri and Porsche will always be the bench mark that all super sports cars are compared and judge too. However, can't dispute the ZR1 for its performance and reliability; but its fit and finish are very poor and makes the car feels cheap compare to other super cars. If GM made the ZR1 in a high quality, Full Carbon Fiber; that Vett would be indeed, be very special....
