No not blind at all dude. The base Corvette and the Grand Sport just about mirror each other in performance...it's even stated in the reviews. I would say given the weight/horsepower ratio of both the Shelby and the C6 that they are pretty evenly matched. The Shelby is a much bigger car thus needs all that extra torque to pull the weight.
