| FORMALITIES IN REGISTRATION OF USED VEHICLES The following forms are required to be filled in when a used vehicle is sold.It is mandatory for the transfer of ownership to take place as soon as possible. #FORM NO 28(In Triplicate) � #FORM NO 29 (In duplicate). � #FORM NO 30(In Duplicate) � #Residential proof of buyer. � #Valid Insurance Policy. � #Valid Pollution Certificate. � #Sale confirmation letter in case the vehicle is registered in Company's name. � #Original certificate of registration. � #Taxation Book(For vehicles registered before 1/November/1997). � #Municipal Tax receipt. Paid till 31-3-1999 CANCELLATION OF HIRE PURCHASE/LEASE It is very important that one cancels the Hire purchase or leasing agreement at the RTO once the period of the agreement is over.The reason for this is that the ownership status of the vehicle changes. A copy of the cancellation form (FORM NO:-35) Additional documents that are required for cancellation are: � Original certificate of registration. � Cancellation of HP/Leasing form. � Confirmation letter from financier. � Valid Insurance Copy. � Valid pollution certificate copy.
